SFVPS has always strived to maintain a student-to-teacher ratio of 8:1 This has allowed both students and instructors to thoroughly enjoy the benefits of individualized instruction. SFVPS students' average SAT scores have been above the national average. The flexibility of class schedules adds great diversity to our student body. During the pilot season (January - March), children from all across the United States come to Hollywood for auditions and/ or filming. We are conveniently located close to Hollywood and the school has historically been able to accommodate to the needs of students engaging in entertainment, athletic, and performing arts careers.

In 1997, the school welcomed Mrs. Angie Peiris as the new principal. Ms. Peiris is a graduate from California State University, Los Angeles with a Bachelors degree in Finance. She worked for Lockheed Martin in the Money & Banking division following her graduation. She has also worked for Warner Brothers and during this time, began her masters and credential education at National University. She has taught various classes over the years and continues to teach/tutor students at SFVPS on occasion. Her talent and dedication to the school has ensured its continued success.
The school currently offers several programs which include a standard curriculum and after-school tutoring services. Students can use any or all of these programs to match their educational needs. Whether a student wants to enhance one's knowledge, improve one's study skills, or comprehend the class material, they can get the type of assistance they need at SFVPS.
