Angie,
Adam Goette, one of your students 3 1/2 years ago, is graduating from Pacific Hills High School this week. Richard and I are reminiscing quite a bit, and have been overcome with gratitude for all the people who have made a difference in Adam’s life. Although we were only at SFVPS a short time, we recall your graciousness during a time of crisis and confusion. You agreed to accept Adam at such a late date in the school year. And you, the facluty, and students embraced him and helped him move forward from the bad decision he made at Campbell Hall. Adam was especially moved by Mrs. Minal’s encouragement. Please thank her, if she is still there.
This past year, Adam became student body president. He won the B of A Acheivement Award for English, the Senior Scholar Award, and Outstanding Senior English Award. He will be attending Loyola Marymount in the fall and will be playing ice hockey with them. He hopes to work with autistic children in occupational or speech therapy. As you can tell, we are very proud of him. And I hope you are proud also, knowing that what you do makes a tremendous difference in the lives of the next generation.
So we wish you and the school continued health and prosperity, and will hold you in our hearts with gratitude always.

An experience in my life that has proven to be valuable to me is when I choose to attend a small private school that allowed me to excel in my extracurricular activities. I was going to have an experience that would shape and change who I was for eternity. I was going to have an experience that would transform me as a person and educate myself about the earth and the people who live here.
My whole life I went to schools that had specific environments and had not faced as much diversity as I would have liked. I had a lot to learn. What I learned at S.F.V.P.S had a huge impact on me and I felt it really expand me as a human being. Going there gave me one of the greatest opportunities I could have ever encountered. Because I went there it has given me time to become really dedicated to something I love. It gave me a so much more time than most kids to become involved in so many things, from sports, to volunteering, and just really experiencing the world. By doing this it really taught me about people, how to get work among them, gain friends, understand, and help them.
I was encouraged to be with adults and converse with children of all ages and it helped me to learn and meet a lot of really different, amazing, and interesting people. These chances taught me to have an open mind to new thoughts and cultures from a young age, which is important in any aspect of life. Not only did this school give me more time to engage in a wider spectrum of activities that opened so many more doors for me, but also it provided me with great self and confidence but confidence in my ideas and beliefs.

My time at SFVPS was probably one of the least stressful and most productive educational periods of my life. I did not know what to expect when first enrolling at the school, but as the first few days passed, I was very much at home in the welcoming surroundings. The thing that made SFVPS so greate for me was taht the administration is so willing to create a learning expereince fitted to each student. For example, I was able to take classes that were not in the regulard day when necessary and could always work according to my schedule.
This freedom combined with shorter school hours, to my surprise, did not affect my grades; in fact, my grades improved in all my classes. Most likely this was due to great teachers combined with a complete lack of stress. Unlike most schools SFVPS didn’t have mass policies or teaching formats exclusive to certain learners that would let only a percentage of students excel when those who struggle fail. In that respect SFVPS was my favorite school of all I have ever attended. SFVPS understands you rlife and is willing and able to make school work for your family. It took no time at all to bond with the other students; they are all great people and easy to get along with. I wish I could have stayd but I had to leave due to my parents convenience. If you are looking for schools I would look no further than SFVPS.
